Draining of data from state registers – the Rada did not support the scandalous law – Ukraine
Investigative journalists, notaries and state registrars could come under attack.
The Council failed the scandalous law No. 10242, which caused a wave of indignation on the Internet. It deals with the establishment of criminal liability for unauthorized interference, sale or distribution of information processed in public electronic registers.
People's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote about it.
He noted that:
- against a total of only – 213;
- sent to repeat second – 229.
Zheleznyak reminded that it was there that they cunningly inserted the rule on the return of the confiscation of corrupt persons who agreed to a deal with the investigation.
“Accordingly, the question arises, what about this issue? For example, there is our draft law No. 12269, which corrects this… and without a hitch,” the People's Deputy concluded.
