Drones spotted over US bases in Britain – UNIAN
The Ministry of Defense says the incidents had no consequences.
During the period from November 20 to 26, unknown unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded over United States Air Force bases in the UK.
Reuters writes about this, citing American officials. According to the statement, small drones were spotted over and near the bases of Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Feltwell. Pentagon spokesman Major General Patrick Ryder said that the military is taking this seriously, but it is too early to draw conclusions about who launched the UAVs:
“Base managers have now determined that none of these intrusions impacted base residents, facilities or assets that we have on those bases.”
