Duda named the conditions for the transfer of the MiG-29 to Ukraine — Weapons
The main condition for the transfer of fighter jets to Ukraine is guarantees of the protection of Polish skies by the allies.
Polish President Andrzej Duda said that the country could consider transferring its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. However, for this, NATO must redeploy its aircraft to Polish air bases.

Duda discussed the transfer of MiG-29 aircraft with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The President emphasized that the main condition for the transfer of fighter jets to Ukraine is guarantees of protection of the Polish skies by allies.
“We still have one squadron of MiGs, there is a solution to this. We are currently using MiG-29 aircraft that perform our missions. If we hand them over to Ukraine, there is one fundamental condition, namely that our skies must be protected,” – said Duda.
