Afanasyevsk authorities reported that local resident Sergei Mikhailovich Cheranev was killed in the fighting. The man served on the line of combat contact with the rank of private. He was fatally wounded while performing a combat mission. The native of the village of Afanasyevo was 37 years old. No other details are provided.
