Dutch companies import sanctioned goods to Russia through seven countries,

A number of countries have been exporting more goods to Russia since 2022.

Dutch companies are likely supplying sanctioned goods to Russia via Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Serbia, Turkey and Turkmenistan. This is evidenced by a study by the Statistics Netherlands and the University of Groningen, writes the Dutch publication de Volkskrant.

Dutch exports of sanctioned goods to these countries have increased over the past two years, the researchers said. At the same time, these countries began to export more sanctioned goods to Russia.
