Dynamo Polissia – result and review of the match of the 13th round of the UPL — Sport
The Zhytomyr club spent the entire second half in the minority.
“Dynamo” beat ““Polissya” in the central match of the 13th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Valery Lobanovsky Stadium in Kyiv ended with a score 2:1.
“White and Blue” opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the match – Vladyslav Vanat hit the far corner after a pass from Mykola Shaparenko from the left wing.
In the 27th minute, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team increased its advantage in the score. After a cross by Oleksandr Tymchyk, the ball hit defender Artem Smoliakov in the penalty area of Zhytomyr – the referee went to watch the moment on VAR and awarded a penalty. Andriy Yarmolenko coolly scored the 11-meter goal, scoring his 110th goal in the championship of Ukraine.
