Egg prices – expert predicts an increase – UNIAN
According to the expert, this increase will last until January 7.
In November-December, prices for eggs will increase by another 10-15%, but after the New Year holidays the cost of this product should fall. The chairman of the public union “Interregional Union of Poultry and Feed Producers of Ukraine” Vadim Shiyan spoke about this in a commentary for Ukrinform.
“The increase in price is seasonal, but it is also due to the fact that prices for feed, feed additives, the dollar exchange rate, electricity, fuels and lubricants, logistics have increased, all this has contributed to inflation,” the expert explained.
