Eight extinct villages will be liquidated in the Kirov region on November 21

Several settlements will be abolished in two districts of the Kirov region. The text of the corresponding initiative appeared on the website of the Legislative Assembly.

Governor Alexander Sokolov introduced a bill to the regional parliament to exclude eight villages from the register of settlements in the Kirov region. The villages of Bolshiye Bliny, Malye Bliny, Sheveli, Karmanovy, Berezhnye near the river, Glinnoye, Muly (all in the Verkhoshizhemsky district) and the village of Yakovyata (Afanasyevsky district) will become officially “dead”.

As noted in the explanatory note, the decision is made on the basis of proposals from local governments. In each of the eight settlements there is neither a permanent population nor real estate suitable for living and owned by anyone. The final decision on this issue…
