Eighth-graders from the Vyatka village of Mirny were initiated into the Mendeleev class

On October 31, 2024, eighth-graders from MOKU Secondary School of the village were initiated into Mendeleev. Peaceful. The Mendeleev Classes project has been implemented in Mirny for the fifth year. The ceremony took place at the Kirov Atomic Energy Information Center.

Let us recall that the educational project “Mendeleev’s classes” was developed by the Russian University of Chemical Technology named after D.I. Mendeleev and has been implemented since 2020 with the support of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Federal Ecological Operator” (part of the Rosatom State Corporation) in the Kirov, Kurgan, Saratov, Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod regions, as well as the Republic of Udmurtia. In these territories, Rosatom is currently creating infrastructure for the management of waste of classes I and II.
