Elections in Belarus – Alexander Lukashenko appointed his rivals – UNIAN

The list included, in addition to Lukashenko himself, three sympathizers of his regime and one dubious “oppositionist.”

At the end of January, the next presidential “elections” will take place in Belarus. The Belarusian Central Election Commission has registered only five candidates, Radio Liberty reports.

In addition to Alexander Lukashenko, who has held power in the country for more than 30 years, the following names will also appear on the ballot:
