Elections in Ukraine – Ukrainian authorities are preparing for post-war elections
According to the head of the Committee on the Organization of State Power in the Verkhovna Rada, Elena Shulyak, after the lifting of martial law, at least six months will pass before elections are held.
Ukraine is studying European models of electoral law, including electronic voting, with the goal of holding elections soon after the end of the war with Russia, Politico writes.
The publication notes that even after the end of the war, one of the key problems will remain providing the opportunity to vote to citizens scattered around the world, including in the occupied territory of Ukraine.
