American businessman Elon Musk, who was an active participant in the election campaign of US President-elect Donald Trump, predicted a quick end to the war in Ukraine.
He wrote about this on his social network X, commenting on Newsweek news that Trump allegedly intends to create an 800-mile (1,300-kilometer) demilitarized zone along the front line between Russia and Ukraine, where British and European troops will be stationed.
“The senseless killings will soon come to an end. The time for war mongers and speculators is over,” he said in his comment.
It is assumed that in exchange for the cessation of hostilities, the new administration of the President of the United States will supply Kyiv with weapons to prevent the renewal of the conflict in the future.
