Elon Musk's rocket sent a scientific project of schoolchildren from the Lviv region into space

The Ukrainian schoolchildren's hydrogel research project was sent to the International Space Station (ISS) by a SpaceX-31 rocket.

This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

This is already the third school experiment from Ukraine, which will be investigated in space within the framework of the SSEP (Student Spaceflight Experiments Program).

On board the SpaceX space mission is an experimental sample, created by the team of the School of general secondary education I-III degrees No. 2 named after Stefania Vitruk.

The project is called “Production of biomedical hydrogels in microgravity conditions”. Its purpose is to investigate the possibility of creating hydrogels that can be used for medical purposes, in particular, in conditions of weightlessness.
