Russian fighter Ivan Emelianenkoyounger brother Fedora and Alexander Emelianenkoreceived a prison sentence for a street fight, Sports.kz reports.
“The Stary Oskol City Court sentenced Ivan to 1 year and 6 months in prison. We will appeal the verdict,” said Emelianenko’s lawyer Sergei Karpeev.
The incident occurred on August 5. Ivan Emelianenko got into a fight with a man and broke his facial bones. A criminal case was opened against the fighter for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. Earlier it also became known that Alexander Emelianenko refused to help his brother.
