Emergency blackouts – how long can they last — Ukraine
The situation in the power system is complex.
Due to the massive attack by the Russian Federation, emergency power cuts are being applied throughout Ukraine. They can last until the evening.
YASNO General Director Serhii Kovalenko announced this.
“According to the forecast from Ukrenergo, emergency shutdowns will last until the evening, 8:00 p.m., but this is still only a forecast,” he said.
Kovalenko reminded that in such a situation traditional schedules do not work.
“However, if possible, the networks will exchange outage groups. Critical infrastructure with light. Take care of yourself and believe in energy workers,” – concluded the general director of YASNO.
