62 year old Evander Holyfield proposed to the 58-year-old Mike Tyson arrange a trilogy fight, Sports.kz reports with reference to vRINGe.com.

The two-part confrontation between these two iconic American heavyweights is one of the most famous in boxing history. The fight was supposed to take place back in 1991, but Tyson was arrested for rape and served 3 years in prison.

The “first series” took place in the summer of 1996. Despite his status as a favorite, Mike lost early – he was unprepared for Holyfield’s dirty tricks (primarily headbutts). The following year, in the rematch, Evander became even more dirty, which infuriated Tyson – he bit off a piece of his opponent’s ear, lost by disqualification, and was suspended from boxing for a long time.
