Ukrainian chef Evgeny Klopotenko found himself at the center of a scandal due to the filming of the Christmas episode of the “Real Story” project in the refectory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Klopotenko explained that it was in the archives of the Lavra that he discovered unique recipes for Ukrainian Christmas dishes, such as pies with crucian carp caviar and pea jelly.
