In Ukraine blackout will last at least five to seven days. However, restrictions may be extended depending on weather conditions.
This was stated by Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Center for Energy Research ether “Morning.LIVE”.
According to him, there will be no blackout in Ukraine. However, if frosts begin, restrictions will increase under any scenario.
“Given the technical composition that we currently have in the power system, these restrictions will increase if it becomes -5…-10°C. That is, there will be not one and a half queues, but three. We must be ready for this as well. It is quite possible,” – says Oleksandr Kharchenko.
