Experts named the smartphones that Kirov residents most often trade in

In the Kirov region over the past year, interest in trading in smartphones has grown significantly. Over the 10 months of this year, the combined retail network of MegaFon and Yota accepted twice as many used gadgets as during the same period in 2023. Xiaomi and Samsung smartphones are most often rented out.

Xiaomi became the leader among smartphones trade-in in the Kirov region: from January to October 2024, devices of this brand accounted for 23% of all transactions under the program. The top three also included Samsung and Realme: their share among smartphones traded in was 17% and 15%, respectively.

In general, the interest of Kirov residents in the program has increased sharply over the year: in 10 months of 2024, the number of accepted smartphones became 2 times higher than in the same period last year. In money terms, the figure increased 5 times.
