Farion's murder: the case was reclassified – what threatens the suspect — Ukraine

Vyacheslav Zinchenko, the suspect in the case of the murder of linguist and public activist Iryna Farion, has had his crime classified changed. Now he faces life imprisonment.

This was reported in the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

“Now he (Zinchenko – Ed.) is suspected of intentionally killing a person in connection with her performance of a public duty due to motives of national intolerance, and of illegal handling of weapons,” the police inform.
