The stars reminded the world of the rich Ukrainian heritage.
American stars with Ukrainian roots, actress and director Vera Farmiga and actress and singer Barbra Streisand told the story of the composition “generous“.
So, a hundred years ago, the Ukrainian Republican Chapel under the leadership of conductor Oleksandr Koshyts completed a five-year tour of three continents. The tours were supposed to introduce Ukrainian culture into the world context and contribute to the recognition of the independence of the Ukrainian People's Republic. At that time, the band gave more than 500 concerts – and everywhere was sold out. World stars talk about it in a special video.
“Ukraine is here. And it is at this time of the year that it is heard everywhere. Ringing. Carol of the Bells. The hope of the Christmas season, the hope of the nation and the whole world are united by this song that was born in Ukraine,” says actress Vera Farmiga in the video.
