FOPs began to close after the signing of the law on tax increases.
After the President signed the law on raising taxes in Ukraine, mass closures of individual entrepreneurs were recorded. Since the entry into force of the law, 22,500 entrepreneurs have ceased their activities.

In particular, on the day of the signing of the law, November 28, 2,332 FOPs were closed. In the first days after the law was passed, the number of closings reached more than 1,000 every day, well above the normal daily average of 700 closed businesses.
