For the ex-head of Naftogaz Kobolev, prosecutors may ask for a new preventive measure,

HACS ignored the appeal of prosecutors in the case of ex-head of Naftogaz Andrei Kobolev (on charges of paying illegal multimillion-dollar bonuses), which allowed the suspect to now avoid fulfilling the previously assigned procedural duties. SAPO is deciding the issue of re-imposing procedural duties on Kobolev. SAP reported this in response to a request from Kommersant Ukrainian.

Due to the fact that the duration of the duties assigned to the former chairman of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine expired on November 12, 2024, the SAPO prosecutor filed a petition with the court on November 1, 2024 to extend them. However, the next court hearings at which the court was supposed to consider the said petition, namely 05.11.2024 and 08.11.2024, did not take place at the initiative of the court.
