“If a person is diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and he completely stops drinking alcohol, begins to follow all the doctor’s recommendations, and leads a healthy lifestyle, he can live about 20 years. But if he occasionally drinks alcohol at a minimal level, he will certainly die from complications of cirrhosis quite quickly,” the doctor explained.
