Forecasters predict sleet and rain in the capital
Drivers and pedestrians are urged to use caution due to icy conditions.
In the coming days, Kiev residents will experience rather wet weather with rain and sleet. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reports this.
“In the next 5 days, mixed-phase precipitation is expected at times in the Kyiv region: sleet and rain,” forecasters say.
The temperature, according to them, will fluctuate between -1…+3 °C both day and night.
There will be icy conditions on the roads, which will increase the risk of accidents.
“We urge drivers to maintain a safe speed, and pedestrians to be careful, especially at crossings and slippery areas,” the weather forecaster said in a statement.
