Forged Romanian passports for evaders: a participant in a criminal scheme was exposed in Kyiv

Law enforcement officers exposed a participant in a criminal scheme who helped conscripted men cross the border under the guise of foreigners with the help of a forged Romanian passport.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office reported that the attacker offered to produce Romanian ID cards for 250 euros. For this, customers only had to provide their photo and foreign passport.

After receiving funds and documents, the suspect created fake passports with other people's names, which allowed the suspects to leave Ukraine as citizens of Romania. The operatives seized more than 35,000 euros and a number of fake Romanian ID cards during the search.
