Frauds with cars and luxury real estate in Georgia: an official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was caught in illegal enrichment
NAZK established the absence of legal income that could provide such financial expenses.
The NAZK revealed signs of illegal enrichment of one of the heads of the territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The official was involved in the resale of cars and has luxury apartments in Georgia.
This was reported by the press service of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
Employees of the NAKC monitored the lifestyle of the Ministry of Internal Affairs official. According to the results of the inspection, it was established that the head of the service center in the period from 2021 to 2023 bought a number of vehicles at reduced prices and sold them at significantly higher prices. In this way, the official received a significant financial profit.
Persons close to the head of the MIA service center were also involved in this scheme.
