An international team of scientists analyzed data obtained by the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment satellites. Thanks to this information, it became clear that since May 2014, there has been a sharp drop in fresh water reserves on Earth and the planet has not yet restored them.
According to satellite data, from 2015 to 2023, the total amount of fresh water in the world was 1,200 cubic kilometers.
