From January 1, a strict ban will be introduced for owners of apartments with a balcony

Launching fireworks on balconies, near trees, residential buildings and during a snowstorm is prohibited. It is allowed to launch pyrotechnics in open areas and for persons over 16 years of age. This was reported by Maria Spiridonova, a member of the Russian Lawyers Association (RAL), RIA Novosti reports.

The expert noted that there are clear rules for launching fireworks and firecrackers. Do not use them indoors, including roofs, balconies and windows, or near gas or power lines.

According to Spiridonova, pyrotechnics can be launched in open areas at a distance of at least 50 meters from residential buildings. There should be no trees or power lines nearby.
