FRU spoke out against the unreasonable increase in electricity transmission tariffs

As the FRU notes, increasing tariffs will lead to a drop in production, which in turn will negatively affect foreign exchange and tax revenues in the context of a budget deficit.

The Federation of Employers of Ukraine strongly objects to the increase in tariffs for the transmission and dispatch of electrical energy proposed by the National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Utilities (NCREKU). Such an increase will lead to a loss of competitiveness of Ukrainian products, the FRU said in an official statement.
