Former World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) frankly answered the question of why he turned away from Alexandra Usika (22-0, 14 KOs) during the final duel of glances before the fight on May 18, Sports.kz reports with reference to Obozrevatel.com.

According to the Gypsy King, he was scared and therefore did not look his opponent in the eye.

Fury said this with a grin on his face on TNT Sports Boxing while watching a replay of the fight with the Ukrainian. “I was afraid of him, so I didn’t look at him,” the British heavyweight commented on the footage, in which he stands sideways to Alexander.
