Irish fighter UFC Ian Machado Garry stated that his 25-minute fight with the Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov was close, and on another day the outcome could have been in his favor, Sports.kz reports.
“If you look at the statistics of the fight, Shavkat threw 102 punches, of which he landed 65. I landed 102 out of 146. Every statistic you look at speaks in my favor.”
“The only one in this fight who looked like he could finish it early was me. I had a ninja choke, a guillotine, a choke from behind. These are all little details that I just need to tweak a little,” Garry told Spaceport Sweden.
