Gas payment from January 1: what will change in 2025
The gas tariff for household consumers has remained unchanged for the past few years.
The National Bank of Ukraine forecasts growth prices for gas, heating and hot water in 2025. The cost may increase, despite the moratorium on increasing these tariffs, which is in effect during the war.
In Ukraine, 98% of household consumers receive gas from Naftogaz of Ukraine. The gas tariff for the public at this supplier is UAH 7.96 per cubic meter. Other gas suppliers offer prices from UAH 7.7 to over UAH 9 per cubic meter of blue fuel.
While residential gas rates are fixed until the end of martial law, the monthly payment for gas delivery may vary from year to year, regardless of martial law. This payment is calculated separately for each subscriber.
