Gazprom stopped gas supplies to Austria – UNIAN

The Russians have returned to the 2022 tactics and are punishing the Europeans for their love of Russian gas.

Gazprom decided to completely stop supplies of its gas to Austria after it refused to pay a penalty for violating its contractual obligations. Austrian gas operator OMV reports that gas supplies will be stopped as of November 16.

According to The Moscow Times, Gazprom previously lost to the Austrians in international arbitration. The Russians were ordered to pay the Austrian OMV 230 million euros plus interest and costs for the disruption of gas supplies to the German subsidiary OMV in 2022.
