Gennady Golovkin's knockout continues to inspire fear years later – Boxing/MMA

December 18, 2024 (08:14)

X-account Beastmode Boxing called a knockout performed by the former world middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin in battle with Matthew McLean the most terrifying thing he has seen in his life, Sports.kz reports.

Beastmode Boxing responded to a post from MMA on Point that suggested calling it “the knockout that scared you.”

“When Golovkin stopped Matthew Macklin with a body shot, Macklin fell as if he had been shot. I thought GGG did some serious damage to his internal organs or something. Luckily, MM was fine,” he wrote.

Let us remind you that the fight between Gennady Golovkin and Matthew Macklin took place in June 2013 in the USA and ended with an early victory for GGG in the third round after a targeted blow to the liver.
