The United States of America has suspended its strategic partnership with Georgia. This is stated in a statement by the US State Department.
They noted that the decision of the ruling Georgian Dream party to suspend the country's accession to the EU contradicts the promise enshrined in the constitution to the Georgian people to strive for full integration into the European Union and NATO.
