Georgia refuses negotiations on joining the EU until 2028
The head of the Georgian government believes that it is unacceptable for his country to consider integration into the European Union as “almsgiving”.
Prime Minister of Georgia Iraklii Kobakhidze said that his country will not negotiate on joining the European Union at least until the end of 2028 and refuses any budget grants from the EU.
“Echo Kavkaza” reports about this statement, announced by the head of the government at a briefing in the central office of the pro-ruling party “Georgian Dream”.
“We see that European politicians and bureaucrats are using allocated grants and loans as blackmail against Georgia,” Kobakhidze said.
