Germany stops the operation of the repair center for the equipment of the Armed Forces in Slovakia: what is the reason
The repair center will be moved to Germany by December 31.
Germany decided to close the center for the repair of military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was located in the east of Slovakia.
This was reported by Bild.
“The representative of the Ministry of Defense pointed out the changes in conditions and the need to carry out extremely complex repair work on the damaged equipment in places,” the message reads.
The decision was made after long negotiations, as Slovakia repeatedly complicated the work of the repair center. There were also contradictions regarding the interpretation of European customs regulations.
