The German authorities are studying which premises can serve as shelters in emergency cases. In addition to metro stations, private premises will also be used.
With the international threat worsening, Germany's Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief (BBK) and the interior ministry want to set up more shelters across the country.

“Now we intend to develop the key points of the asylum concept,” said a spokesman for the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
