From December 15, 2024, a new social support measure came into effect in Russia: pensioners who have reached a certain age will be able to receive a one-time payment of 15,000 rubles. This decision is aimed at improving the financial situation of senior citizens, especially those who need additional assistance.

Who will receive the payment?
The main contenders for the new payment are pensioners who have crossed the 80-year mark. They are also provided with a doubling of the fixed additional payment to the insurance pension. If now it is about 8,100 rubles, then after reaching 90 years old the amount will increase to more than 16,000 rubles monthly.
