Google Play will reject all attempts by users to purchase paid applications from Russian developers.
Starting December 26, Google Play will suspend payment processing to application developers with bank accounts in the Russian Federation for an indefinite period. This was reported by the Russian portal Habr.
In a letter that the Android app store sent to Russian sellers, it said that the service will reject all attempts by users to purchase their paid applications.
In addition, it will be impossible to make purchases in Russian applications, as well as issue and renew subscriptions.
Google noted that settlements with application developers from the Russian Federation for previously made purchases by Google Play users are planned to be completed by January 15.
