Putin voiced several more threats related to the use of the Oreshnik ballistic missile.
“Decision-making centers” in Kyiv could be targeted by an Oreshnik missile, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin said at the CSTO summit at the Palace of Independence in Astana, Kazakhstan. According to him, the Russian Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are already “selecting targets” to hit with this missile on the territory of Ukraine.
He also stated that Russia was allegedly “forced” to test a ballistic missile in response to ATACMS/Storm Shadow strikes on the territory of the Kursk and Bryansk regions, the pro-Kremlin RIA Novosti reports.
