Hnezdilov, who went to the public SZCH, the arrest was extended until January 15 — Ukraine

Military Hnezdilov voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2019.

On November 29, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended until January 15 the preventive measure for Serhiy Hnezdilov, a soldier of the 56th Brigade, who voluntarily left the unit in September.

According to the prosecutor, the law enforcement officers will not have time to complete the pre-trial investigation by December 9, as determined by the Pechersk Court in October. That is why it is necessary to extend the preventive measure against the serviceman.

As explained by lawyer Anastasia Burkovska, the defense side admits that Gnezdilov voluntarily left part, but does not agree with the fact that he committed desertion, which the prosecutor's office accuses him of.
