Holidays abroad during the war
At the same time, Ukrainians began to more often choose European destinations for vacation.
In 2024, Ukrainians traveled more and also changed their travel habits somewhat.
According to data from the tour operator Join UP! Ukraine, this year, from April 1 to October 31, the company sent 188,816 Ukrainian tourists on vacation abroad, which is 5% more than last year.
At the same time, this year there was a trend among Ukrainian travelers to extend the summer holiday season due to climate change, as warm weather lasts until the end of October – in 2024, active holidays lasted 7-10 days longer than usual, the tour operator’s report says.
