The son of the owner of the pizzeria “L'Olivier” in the town of Issy-le-Moulineau took hostages and barricaded himself in his father's establishment around noon on Saturday, November 16. It supports at least four people.

“A man armed with a knife locked himself in his father's restaurant,” Paris police headquarters said.
According to journalists, the suspect suffers from drug addiction. The hostages are most likely employees of the pizzeria, since there were no customers in the restaurant at the time of the seizure.
The police did not say what demands the suspect was making, but clarified that he was threatening to commit suicide. In this regard, a qualified negotiator was called to the scene.
It is known that the suspect has previously been referred to the police, but has no criminal record.
