The third assault brigade is the largest and one of the most combat-ready brigades in the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It was founded in February 2022 by Andrii Biletskyi together with other veterans of Azov. At that time, the unit was called “Azov-Kyiv” and was part of the ground defense.
