More than 2,000 residents remain in this front-line district of Donetsk region, more than 150 of them are children.
Hundreds of attempts to persuade them to leave and save at least the children. “White Angels” police units of Donetsk region visit families living in front-line villages and towns under shelling every day. However, people refuse to the last and ask for help only when the situation becomes critical.
TSN correspondent Anastasia Nevirna returned from the raid she went to with the White Angels.
An armored bus drives through a front-line village. These police officers from the “Bili Yagoly” unit take turns visiting houses where there are children. Despite the proximity of the fighting, 11 minors still remain here.
“We came to congratulate you on the holiday. What, you don't plan to leave yet? “No, we have 2 cars, we will leave ourselves.”
