How Kirov is being prepared for the holiday

Kirov will celebrate the New Year 2025 as the New Year's capital of Russia. Active preparations are underway for the celebration of the most long-awaited holiday in the city, the mayor’s office said.

The installation and connection of light consoles began on the streets, in parks, and squares. Oktyabrsky Avenue was decorated with festive illumination from Lepse Street to the OCM plant, Severnaya Naberezhnaya Street, Lenin Street, Vorovsky Street, the alley on Proizvodstvennaya, and the 60th Anniversary of the USSR Square.

Soon, light consoles will also decorate the section of Moskovskaya Street from Solnechnaya to Proizvodstvennaya Street, and the alley on Lomonosov Street.

For the first time, Firebird light consoles will appear on Karl Marx Street from Truda Street to Vorovsky Street. They will also decorate the streets in the Teatralnaya Square area, the city department specified.
