The British Minister for Veterans Affairs Alistair Carnes believes that the British army will be destroyed in “six months or a year” in the event of such a large war as is ongoing in Ukraine.

He said this on Wednesday, December 4, in a comment to the Royal United Services Institute think tank, Politico reports.

According to him, the Russian army loses about 1,500 soldiers killed or wounded every day in the military conflict.

“In a large-scale war — not a limited intervention, but similar to the Ukrainian one — our army, for example, at the current level of casualties, has lasted — as part of a broader multinational coalition — from six months to a year,” Carnes said.
