According to Terekhov, Christmas day was really difficult for Kharkiv utility workers, especially for heating workers. But they managed.
“Despite the shelling and all the difficulties, closer to the evening, it was possible to partially restore the supply of central heating to residential buildings in the city. Currently, we are talking about 1,378 residential buildings – that's about 200,000 apartments,” he said.
Restoration work is still ongoing.
“Specialists will continue to work even at night to provide heat to every home as soon as possible,” the city mayor assured.
